Collegiate wins, Patrick Henry falls.......

Jake McGee's late 4th quarter TD pass lifted Collegiate past Fork Union on the road this afternoon 38-34 to raise their record to 6-1. The Cougars fell behind 20-3 in the 2nd quarter, only to score two touchdowns before halftime to cut the deficit to three.

The Cougars took a 31-20 lead in the third, with the Blue Devils storming back with two touchdowns and a two-point conversion to take a 34-31 lead with five minutes left, setting the stage for McGee's heroics!

Meanwhile, Patrick Henry fell to Deep Run tonight, 23-7 in a game dominated by special teams and lack of offensive production from both sides. Sarah Bradley's 38 yard field goal early in the fourth quarter gave the Wildcats the lead to stay at 9 to 7. Dallas Simmons' 20 yard TD run broke the game open later in the quarter.

The Patriots fall to 2-2 in the Colonial District, 2-5 overall.
