Congratulations to the following Virginia teams that made the 2011 NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday-----
The Richmond Spiders won the Atlantic 10 Championship Sunday and will play Vanderbilt as a #12 seed in the second round.
The VCU Rams received an at-large bid and will play in the new "first round" on Wednesday night against USC.
The Old Dominion Monarchs won the CAA Title last Monday and will face 2010 National Runnerup Butler in the second round.
The George Mason Patriots won the CAA Regular season and received an at-large bid to face Villanova in the second round.
The Hampton Pirates won the MEAC Championship over the weekend and must face ACC Champions Duke in round two.
Virginia Tech did not make the field and will start play in the NIT on Tuesday or Wednesday.....
