TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Railroad Run Saturday

The 33rd Annual Railroad Run takes place from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30. The Ashland Police Department will begin temporarily closing roads starting at 7am.
The course begins on South Center Street (west side of the tracks only) and go as far north as England Street (but will not interrupt traffic there); as far west as South James Street; and as far south as Gwathmey Church Road.

Some of the streets contained within the race perimeter will be closed intermittently to include Cox Lane, Duncan Street (between Hanover Avenue and Early Street), South James Street, Hanover Avenue, Stebbins Street, Early Street, Howard Street and South Center Street.

There will be police officers and race officials posted at various intersections to help with traffic.

NOTE: Ashcake Road will be closed intermittently, but Route 54 will not be closed.
