Some 1,500 volunteers are being deployed from the Meadow Event Park command center today to search some 3.5 miles from where 8 year-old Robert Wood, Jr. disappeared Sunday at North Anna Battlefield Park off Verdon Road in Northern Hanover.
Searches continued overnight with, according to HCSO, some "challenges". Cooler weather has arrived to meet returning and new volunteers, with intermittent showers expected today and heavier rain arriving late tonight. Today is a critical day in this search.
